The Oregon Coast Scenic Sustainability Adventure

Come bike with us along Oregon's world-renowned Coastal Scenic Bike Route as we twist and turn, coast and glide along legendary Route 101. With the sea on one side and the rugged rustic bluffs of Oregon's Coast on the other, the sun on your face and the salty breezes in your hair you'll find nature has never been more inviting.  You'll lose yourself in all its glory and find yourself on a deeper level than ever before.

Experience Oregon and all its stunning beauty

Along the way, we'll visit organic farms, a land trust, a permaculture education farm, camp along the ocean, and more.  We'll sate your appetite with a bounty of delicious local fruits and vegetables with three exceptional vegan meals.  There's nothing like nature at its raw and awesome best to awaken the YOU in you.  There's nothing like the challenge of the hills and the freedom of the road to bring you back to your senses.  All of them.

We'll work and sleep under a staggering display of stars at an organic farm and be inspired by its visionary owner. We'll roll up our sleeves and get our hands in the rich black soil working side by side and hand in hand with stakeholders at a coastal land trust.

You'll be inspired and join with the incredibly hardworking staff at FOODROOTS, a Tillamook food bank, helping community gardens grow and flourish. You'll learn about the hunger problems that hurt small coastal towns and envision ways they can be helped.

You'll have the opportunity to go kayaking and be one with the sea!

You'll be inspired and engage with speakers from some of Oregon's most innovative sustainability organizations OSALT and the Oregon Tilth.

We'll visit and take part in permaculture demonstrations and meet with growers of everything from heirloom tomatoes to heirloom chickens and be able to see and taste what nature created before factory farming came into being

We'll hike coastal trails, viewing some of the most spectacular coastline in the world and come back changed forever. A part of nature instead of apart from nature as the world intended us to be.

You'll find that you can bike 200 miles per week because we designed this tour with all of you in mind beginner to intermediate. Its all on good, safe low traffic paved roads and our sustainably minded biofuel gear van will never be far behind to care for your needs or give you a lift should you need it.
